War and Toys
A design project for a graduate level class. Students were asked to choose an exhibit within North Carolina’s Museum of History. This exercise is applying motion graphics to the museum environment in order to spark reflection and comparison of two separate exhibits; one on toys of the 20th century and the other on the Gulf War. The result is an animation that combines images of toys with war photography to be presented next to the toy exhibit and compare our trained behaviors as children with the real life experiences as adults.
