Flyingtype is my portfolio space. My name is Gretchen Caldwell Rinnert, and I am an interactive and motion graphics designer. I reside in Kent, Ohio where I'm an Assistant Professor at Kent State University, in the School of Visual Communication Design. I teach interactive media and motion design.
Current Project:
Pots & Pans:
Currently I am working on an identity system, website design and promotional materials for a local community project (soon to be non-profit) called Pots and Pans. The mission of Pots & Pans is to provide cooking tools to those in need through the recycling and re-distribution of commonly used kitchen items. The goal is to recycle and share tools needed for the easy preparation of meals enjoyed at the family table. We hope to have the project launched by May of 2011. This project is in collaboration with Lucky Penny Farm & Cremery, and led by Abbe Turner. Please look for more information in the upcoming weeks!
